Welcome to CLIQUE!

I can trace my love of photography back three generations, to the early 1900s and my paternal great-grandfather, Henry Mattson. I have a really cool photo that he took of the old family homestead in Minnesota, sometime before 1910. According to family history, Grampa Mattson frequently took photos of his world - the people and places that he loved.

It warms my heart to know that this love of photography didn't skip any generations as it passed down to me! I am blessed to have such a legacy and I hope to pass it on to my own children and grandchildren some day.

I experience a physical and spiritual thrill whenever the Lord shows Himself in His marvelous creation around us and in the people I meet. My dream vacation would be to spend a year or two just traveling around the US, stopping at little out of the way places and photographing the interesting characters and the beauty of nature to be found along the way - those things that draw me closer to GOD and help point others to Him, too.

More Baby Pics ~ CC Encouraged!

This is Jacey (Jay-see) - the little 14 month old boy my daughter Jen cares for. He's such a cutie and makes me laugh every time we're together! I took these shots yesterday while at Jen's - converted some of them to B&W and am interested in your input. I don't use B&W very often, but I kind of like the way these turned out (converted in Roxio 5.0).

TIA for your comments and critiques!

Oh my gosh he's adorable! I love the 2nd photo of him with the spoon in his mouth and that cute smile and those little teeth. Great pictures Kim!

Sis, I really like the B/W conversions! the B/W add so much as it makes your eye focus more on the subject and not the color, the baby shots are just adorable!your God given talent just amazes me!

What cute pictures of your ds. I like the b & w ones the best because you do focus on the photography part of the picture. He is so cute in color that it is hard not to only think about that. Good work

Didn't think anyone could be as cute as my granddaughter but oh, what a doll! Kim, I love all your pictures. Sorry I don't have the time to go into detail about each set but I reviewed them all and they are great. The fair pictures are fabulous. Thanks for sharing.
