Thanks to Chel for continuing on with our weekly challenges!
This first photo shows a focused photo that tells a story - this is my dear gf Rhonda and her youngest grandbaby, Hannah. There is so much love between these two and I believe this photo captures that. I zeroed in on their faces to capture the closeness and joy these girls have for one another.
This second photo was taken in Rhonda's front yard and shows the detailed evidence of the chilly freshness of an autumn rain. Again, focused in tightly, this time on the leaf and raindrops. I included a little of the background to show the contrast between the colorful fall leaves and the remaining greenery of the surrounding trees and bushes.
Kim these are great. 1. You established your subject 2. By really taking a close up you drew the attention to your subject (cute picture too) and there is nothing that takes away from your photo. Second picture, I love you can see the back foliage too for contrast and you hit 1,2,3 here perfectly! Its also a beautiful photo! Great job on the challenge.
ReplyDeletelike the fill the frame shot of the first one. Works well for this type of photo and really shows off the subject.the secon shots really shows the subject well and the other details work well in thephoto . Love the colors in this shot. nice job.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. The leaf is beautiful. The first is just too cute, and I really like how you have filled the entire frame with the subjects! Good work.

ReplyDeleteOh Kim, I want to grab that little girl and squeeze her. Beautiful fall leaves and the rain on them always gives it a special "seasonal" feeling.
